Milestone payments and clear ownership from the start

Pay by progress and delivery.
Own your project assets from the first day of development.

Payments are tied to reviewable milestones, and project assets are handed to the client from the start of development.

Payment / 4 stages

A fair payment plan for the client.
Starting at just 25%.

We divide the project fee into four equal payments: the first at the start, two as work progresses and is delivered, and the last only once the team completes the technical support stage.

  1. 25% When the project starts A single upfront payment
  2. 25% After two stages are complete Due after progress is reviewed
  3. 25% At initial delivery Once the agreed version is ready
  4. 25% After the support period After the agreed period ends

The principle Every payment is tied to a clear milestone the client can review and accept.

Ownership / From week one

Your project is independent and the decision is yours. We hand you every technical asset of your project, so you can continue developing it with us or with any team you choose.

From week one, the client has full access to the code repository, source files, designs, and documentation. We update them at each stage rather than handing everything over at the end.

We show the client how to create the domain, hosting, server, third-party service, and other sensitive accounts, so ownership and billing stay under their control. We also help with everything they need from third-party services, from registration and verification to preparing requirements and obtaining the required access.

We retain no technical asset that could prevent the client from continuing with us or another team.
  • 01 Code & repositories Full access from week one
  • 02 Servers & hosting Accounts owned by the client
  • 03 Third-party services Ownership and billing directly with the client
  • 04 Source files & designs Continuous, documented delivery

Answers to common questions about working with Codava

Have questions before you start?

Common questions clients ask about platform and system cost and timeline, project stages, ownership of code and accounts, payment terms, and delivery stages.

How do you choose the right software company for your project?

Choose a company that understands your business model and goals, clearly defines the project scope, cost, and implementation stages, and shows past work that proves its experience. Also confirm the quality and maintainability of the code, clear ownership of the code, accounts, and technical assets and how they are handed over, and the support terms after launch. At Codava, we work by these criteria, document our commitments to you before starting, and keep you informed of progress and what is completed at every stage.

How much does it cost to build a web platform or custom software system?

Software development cost depends on the number of users, features, integrations, security requirements, and web or mobile experiences involved. After understanding the project, we define the first version and provide clear scope and milestone-based pricing instead of a generic figure that does not reflect the actual need.

How long does it take to develop a platform or software system?

The timeline depends on the size of the first version, feature and integration complexity, and how quickly decisions are approved. After a short discovery stage, we set the timeline and divide delivery into clear milestones so the client can track progress and launch the first useful version at the right time.

What is the difference between a web platform, custom system, and SaaS product?

A web platform connects multiple user types or services in one experience. A custom system manages processes and data specific to one business. A SaaS product serves multiple customers through subscriptions or an ongoing service. We choose the model based on users, operations, and the revenue model.

What types of platforms and systems does the Codava team build?

We build digital platforms, SaaS products, and custom software systems, including commerce, loyalty, and community platforms, operations systems, and offline-capable applications. We start with the problem and business model, then determine whether the project needs a web platform, internal system, application, automation, or AI integrations.

How does a project start?

We first understand the business model, users, and problem. Then we review assumptions, set priorities, and agree on the right first version, scope, and timeline before development begins.

How are project payments and delivery stages structured?

The project fee is divided into four equal 25% payments tied to reviewable milestones: project start, after two stages, initial delivery, and the end of the agreed support period, with all technical assets, including the project code, handed to you from the start of implementation.

Who owns the code and project accounts?

The client owns the project assets from week one, including the code repository, source files, designs, and documentation. The client also controls domain, hosting, server, third-party, and billing accounts.

Which countries does Codava serve?

We build custom software, SaaS products, and digital platforms for businesses and users in the Yemeni, Gulf, and wider Arab markets, and for any client in any country outside the Arab world.

Is Codava a legally registered company?

Yes. Codava is legally registered in Yemen under commercial registration number 1021078, issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Industry Office of the Capital Secretariat, Sana'a, Yemen.

How does Codava protect the confidentiality of my project and its intellectual property?

We do not begin technical implementation before agreeing with you on the project details and contract terms and signing them, on paper or electronically, by both parties. We document our commitments to protecting intellectual property and confidentiality in the contract and a non-disclosure agreement, according to the agreed terms, and launching the project is never permission to disclose its confidential information. You hold full ownership of the code and digital assets we develop specifically for your project, and Codava may not resell, distribute, or reuse them in other projects without your written permission or an explicit contract clause. Third-party components remain subject to their own licences, which we explain to you within the agreement.
